Exclusive Degustation tour was created for travellers that seek for memorable food experiences and want to degustate the best of true local food. It has been specially designed for rough Lofoten winters and long dark evenings during the Polar Night periode. It’s done in a very small cozy group (max. 8 people) with an experienced local guide.
This tour consists of a degustational dinner at the traditional fish restaurant in the scenic village of Sørvågen and wine-tasting in the historical village of Nusfjord.
Dinner: We were offered a special degustation dinner, with a classical Lofoten fish and set of three local signature starters to try. This meny will both introduce you to arctic fish cuisine and show you a new perspective of a traditional food.
Wine-tasting: evening wine-tasting is run by Nusfjord village for locals and guests that stay in the village. Its organised in an old cozy house in the authentic fishermen village of Nusfjord, and done by a certified sommelier that will help you understand your drink better. We’ll taste 3 different types of wine.
During the whole evening the tour will be guided by one of our best local guides. He’ll be telling you stories about present and past of Lofoten to make your journey more exciting and meaningful.
We recommend you being at the pick-up point 5-10 minutes before departure.
