Join us on an unforgettable night trip with a spectacular view!
Our local and experienced guide will take you from sea level to Vestvågøy’s tallest mountain, an incredible 931 meters above sea level.
This trip is perfect for those who are active and have a trip to a mountaintop in Lofoten on their bucket list but feel safer with a guide. This is an interesting and exciting trip, and the experienced local guide can share their knowledge of Lofoten.
This somewhat tough trip takes about 5 hours in total. The trip is not technically challenging, but some sections are steep.
The main mountaintop, which is 964 meters above sea level, is closed off (this is a radar building). Our trip takes us to the mountaintop before the tallest one, and the view simply can’t be described with words.
Himmeltinden provides a spectacular view of the ocean and the outside of Lofoten. This is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset or midnight sun.
We finish the trip off with a refreshing dip in the ocean, for those who are interested.
“The trip is great, it’s like climbing a very long and steep staircase … It’s never scary though. No dangerous areas, so it’s safe for people who are scared of heights as well. Fantastic view!”
“Fantastic trip! We set out on this trip with our boys at 10 and 12 years old, with lots of breaks of hot chocolate and snacks. Great terrain to walk in. The incredibly beautiful view makes the climb to 931 meters above sea level more than worth it. Bring extra clothes; it’s always nice to have something dry to change into, and it’s always a bit colder on the mountaintop”
“The greatest mountaintop in western Lofoten. A steep climb, but you are rewarded with a beautiful, stunning view right from the start of the trip! You must experience this!”
