The largest island in Lofoten, Vestvågø'’s widely varied landscapes offer a little of everything. White sand beaches, fairytale mountains, lush farmland, mountain passes with stunning views, and fishing villages fringed with rorbuer, the distinctive cabins on stilts where fishermen used to stay during the winter season. One such village is Stamsund. On the way, you stop at Einangen viewpoint, with stunning views on both sides. After Stamsund, there is another beautiful panoramic view going over Hagskaret. The trip continues through rolling farmland backed with soaring mountains. Your final stop is white and pristine Haukland Beach, voted by Norwegians themselves as the most beautiful place in Norway. A trip to the seaside, Lofoten style!
