History
Our History
Arctic Guide Service is a guiding company with offices in Lofoten, Tromsø, and the North Cape. We launched in Lofoten in 2001, opened our second office in Tromsø in 2006, and expanded to the North Cape in 2009. Our name—Arctic Guide Service—speaks to our deep connection with the Arctic region.
We’re proud to be the preferred partner for adventurous travelers, tour operators, cruise companies, and Hurtigruten. With nearly two decades of experience, we’ve become a leading provider of guiding services in Northern Norway. Our guides work in multiple languages—English, German, Spanish, Norwegian, Italian, French, and Japanese—and we can often arrange additional languages on request.
