Exclusive Degustation tour was created for travelers that seek for memorable food experiences and want to degustate the best of true local food. It has been specially
designed for rough Lofoten winters and long dark evenings during the Polar Night periode. It’s done in a very small cozy group (max. 8 people) with an experienced local guide.
During this tour we’ll travel to the historical village of Henningsvær to have a degustation fish dinner, both traditional and modern. After that we’ll visit the main local brewery - Lofot Pils, where we’ll have a tour around the production and taste 5 different types of beer!
Dinner: we’ll have dinner in a famous fishermen restaurant in from of the sea. We’ll degustate locally produced whale, cod and mackerel* and have a world-known fish soup with a 33-year old recipe that haven´t changed and never has been disclosed.
Tasting: We’ll continue our evening with a tour inside the brewery LofotPils, where we’ll get to see and to know the inner side of local beer production. And of course will taste five bestseller-beers.
Lofotpils - is the beer you find in every supermarket and bar in Lofoten and not only, so this is a unique chance to discover it from the inside.
During the whole evening the tour will be guided by one of our best local guides. He’ll be telling you stories about the present and past of Lofoten to make your journey more exciting and meaningful.
We recommend you being at the pick-up point 5-10 minutes before departure.
