This guided tour has been specially created for rough Lofoten winters and lack of light during the Polar Night periode. It’s done in a very small cozy group (max. 8 people) with an experienced local guide.
We’ll visit the most scenic and picturesque places on the two most dramatic Lofoten islands, Moskenesøya and Flakstadøya. And after that, when the lights will be going down, we’ll visit the authentic historical village Nusfjord, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Norway and transformed into a partial open-air museum.
Part 1: Sightseeing tour. In this tour we will, among other beautiful places, visit
Part two: visit to Nusfjord village. We’ll have a light guided tour around the village to see the old smokery, fish oil factory, traditional fishing boats and boat house, There will also be free time to spend there. In free time, we can visit the historical 19 century store and delicious traditional cafe, the Salteriet Galleri, the harbour etc.
We recommend you being at the pick-up point 5-10 minutes before departure. Since the tour is strongly dependant on the light and strictly limited working hours of the museums, unfortunately we can not be waiting for the guests that are late for more then 5 minutes.
