Join us on an excursion - first to the North Cape and then to Sámi Siida Skipsfjorden!

This Sámi summer camp is located in Skipsfjorden, only a short drive from Honningsvåg.

You will be welcomed by a Sámi family who will introduce you to Sámi history and culture, in a traditional Sámi Lavvo.

Sitting around the cozy fire you will experience the old traditional way of living, learn how to make a fire, listen to storytelling and have a taste of Sámi snack and hot beverage.

You will learn about Sámi duodji (handicraft) and joik songs. Joik is central in Sami culture and is used to express relationships to people and nature.
